The authority to leave will be the default option and is pre-selected in our checkout. If you would like to sign for your parcel, please deselect the checkbox in the checkout. Deliveries must be signed for upon arrival. If there is no one available to sign for it, it will be sent to your local post office for you to collect later.
Why is authority to leave the default option?
Australia Post have made changes to the signature service in Parcel Post and Express Post. One of the current options that requires a signature on delivery (unless the receiver chooses otherwise) will now default to signature with authority to leave. Australia Post will still capture a signature whenever the customer is home. If not, then customers of freestanding residences who have a safe place to leave the parcel will have their parcel delivered and a picture will be taken of where Australia Post have left it. This will be made available to all customers via auspost.com.au/MerchantTrack.
Authority to leave through Australia Post voids all liability from Tony Bianco and we will not be held accountable if your order is not delivered. As this is not a registered service and no signature is required upon delivery we do not recommend requesting authority to leave.
